Tonight's Recipe takes about 10 minutes and it's a barnburner...melt in your mouth orgasmically delicous.
It's called Ziggy's Applesauce Pie
7 large Granny Smith apples peeled, cored and sliced into medium sized pieces
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
Take all ingredients above and put them in a saucepan...cook covered on medium high until the apples start to soften and water evaporates. Take a potato masher and slightly mash the apples.
Pour them into a pyrex pie pan.
Crumble Topping
In a separate medium sized bowl hand mix with fork the following ingredients:
1 cup of flour, 6 tablespoons softened butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, dash of cinnamon
Hand sprinkle the crumble topping over the apple mixture.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes till bubbly hot and lightly browned
Serve with a scoop of your favorite vanilla ice cream
